Hm... I _did_ have a modified key binding hooked up to Cmd+Alt+F; I
used it for "Replace and Find Next" (just like TextMate does), but
that's not the case any more. According to the preference panel, Cmd
+Alt+F isn't bound to any item at the moment.
Does it work if you invoke it from the menu bar: "View > Detail"?
Yes it does work if I go through the menu bar.
Removing my key bindings preference file (Mattias.pbxkeys) does
resolve the problem though. Can this file be of any help to you if/
when debugging this matter?
I would suggest that you file a formal bug report here:

Include your preference files, and a description of the problem.
