I'm trying to launch Xcode but it fails to do so citing the following message:

What does this mean? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

You can't move Xcode from /Developer/Applications to /Applications. It needs to be able to find all its frameworks, parts, and plugins in / Developer/Library. You may want to use an alias or a symlink if you want Xcode to appear in /Applications.
