This is a known bug, #5438773. When I reported it a few months ago my bug
was marked as a duplicate of 5438773.
If your servers are mostly Windows, then using your full email address as
your user name is very common. I had to persuade our IT folks to change our
SVN server log ins to accommodate this. Inconvenienced a lot of folks.
