I would say that your mistake was merely a propagation of a more
egregious error by whomever decided that it would be a good idea to
use the two very similar words "Development" and "Deployment" to
distinguish between debug and non-debug builds, instead of say, Debug
and Release, or Debug and Final, and make those easily-confused names
the defaults in Xcode. I'd like to find that person and ask them to
read the following:
