If it makes you feel any better, this happens to me too. :) Repros 100%.
It seems to me that 64 bit it just not ready for prime time: gdb won't
step in, Shark doesn't see symbol names, Thread Viewer.app won't attach
to 64 bit apps, etc., etc.
