Anyone who writes code should use source control, no exceptions. If you don't use source control, you're asking for trouble. I would highly recommend getting cheap web-hosting somewhere that will allow you to host an svn server.

That was exactly what I thought when I saw the code.
If you're web-hosting does not provide svn, you can also have a local svn and push it (sync it) with a distant copy from time to time.
It will be less disk-consuming than the previous solution, and will provide a way to restore the project and to come back to a specific revision easily.
