I haven't done this before, but the book Xcode 3 Unleashed by Fritz Anderson has a section on how to do this in Chapter 14 (pp. 217-219).  The book calls it a "Private Framework", maybe that will help with Google searches?  I don't want to plagarize the book, but I have just searched and found similar information here for Xcode 2.5: http://developer.apple.com/documentation/MacOSX/Conceptual/BPFrameworks/Tasks/CreatingFrameworks.html

That webpage has a section called 'Embedding a Private Framework in Your Application Bundle' which contains mostly the same information.  The book will also tell you to check "Skip Install" setting in the private framework Target Info Build Tab.
