Sometimes I post things just to get a definitive answer. The docs were
horrifyingly vague (at least to me) about this and the support person (not
DTS) I talked to at Apple was adamant that I had to have a dedicated
development unit, iPod or iPhone, that couldn't be used for anything else.
I'm glad to hear that the situation is not that dire.
It would be good if you could clarify the situation regarding running an
unreleased OS on the iPhone.
