CodeSign Error

I have been working on a project for a while and all of sudden I'm encountering the following error in xcode..

CodeSign error: Code Signing Identity 'iPhone Developer' does not match any code-signing certificate in your keychain. Once added to the keychain, touch a file or clean the project to continue.



Has anyone else encountered this error?  How can one address the issue?
