XCode’s Documentation Complains “File Not Found” but Gives Correct Results

  • Subject: XCode’s Documentation Complains “File Not Found” but Gives Correct Results
  • From: Izidor Jerebic <email@hidden>

Hi,

whenever I search for some class, I get a panel "File Not Found" from Xcode, but the results are shown correctly, e.g. UIApplication doc.

This started with iPhone 3.1 documentation update. I deleted the 3.1 docset and re-downloaded, but behaviour stays the same.

Any way to prevent those annoying "File not Found" panels from showing up?

Thanks,

izidor

P.S. Also, when I try to subscribe for 3.1.2, Xcode gives me "Failed to subscribe to documentation feed at http://developer.apple.com/rss/com.apple.adc.documentation.AppleiPhone3_1_2.atom ."

P.P.S. This problem also showed on stackoverflow, and I copied the title from there, to help searching...
