Hm, my earlier search was in 3.1.4, but it also shows up for me in
3.2. I did a "Contains" search for "xcode project management
guide" (without the quotes). Doing this with *only* the Developer
Tools Library selected (so it the pulldown menu says "1 of 5 Doc
Sets"), the doc shows up as the only hit in the "Title" section of
the search results, and the 14th hit in the "Full Text" section.
My pulldown says "1 of 2 Doc Sets". What's going on here? I'll bet
you have the iPhone SDK. I do not. The only items in my pulldown
are "Mac OS S 10.6 Core Library" and "XCode 3.2 Developer Tools
Library".
Yup, I have the iPhone SDK and Leopard docs too.
But guess what -- I was about to suggest you update your
documentation but decided for grins I would update *my*
documentation. And now the "Xcode Project Management Guide" has
disappeared and what *was* a link in the "Xcode Workspace Guide" is
no longer a link. So there is indeed some churn in that area of the
docs and I am now in the same boat as you and Matt.
I looked into this and unfortunately, the "Xcode Project Management
Guide" was accidentally miscategorized so that it doesn't appear in
the latest version of the Xcode doc set. This will be fixed in the
next doc set update.
It is available in the iPhone OS 3.1 Reference Library: http://developer.apple.com/iphone/library/documentation/DeveloperTools/Conceptual/XcodeProjectManagement/000-Introduction/introduction.html
My apologies for the inconvenience.
