The base SDK is set to 10.6 in both the project and target settings, for all configurations. If I make a new project and attempt to duplicate the problem target I can compile with no problems.

But when I option click on the overview popup-button, it lists a full complement of SDKs and showed that 10.4 was chosen. And now that I've chosen another one from there, the Project menu contains the full list too.

And to the Apple engineers who I know are monitoring this list:

How many times does this issue have to come up on this list and the bug reporter before it finally sinks in: THIS IS A BUG! (Sorry I don't like capitals, but if you don't even want to acknowledge an obvious bug...)

And if you don't think this is a bug, please answer the following two questions:
1. Why would I need to hold down Option to see the currently used Active SDK?
2. In view of your answer to Q1, why must it be extremely hard (virtually impossible to discover on your own) to reset this (often inadvertent) choice?

If your answers to these questions are not contradicting each other, I am sure you will have to admit that this is a bug.

Christiaan
