In upgrading an older project (where of course the SDK was now missing in
action, because in 3.2.3 Apple has omitted all the pre-3.2 SDKs for some
reason - of course we could also talk about *that* if desired), I had to
make my own guess, so my first guess was Simulator 4.0. This worked fine for
running the simulator but it took me a moment or two to realize why I wasn't
able to run on a device... :) Hence my question - my thought was, if this
can *only* mislead, why is even there? I'm happy that you addressed that
(your guess is similar to my own). m.
