Hello,
That was probably parts of the application menu (the one right beside the
apple menu). That menu is (partly) built by the system, not by the
application.
Also many items in the print dialogs would be in Portuguese, too.
The key is the "Portuguese" flag in the application .plist file, so not ALL
of the application was in English. ;-)
