Tried more stuff, but still no solution.
After replacing the incomplete plug-in with one which I had didn't work, I tried deleting the whole plug-in (IBCocoaTouchPlugin.ibplugin). Then I tried deleting the whole iPhoneSimulator.platform.
Each time, I relaunched Xcode, but still building my (Mac) project gives a warning from each xib saying that this plug-in failed to load.
I was wondering if maybe all my xibs were asking for this IBCocoaTouchPlugin.ibplugin. So I searched all of their XML text using BBEdit for "Touch" but found nothing.
