Actually, I think I would disagree with you on what I think is best, based on your image.

I don't want my files sorted in the Groups & Files list. I want them in the order I put them there. I don't mind being able to sort them, but I don't want it to be too easy, or to mess up my painstaking ordering. The current functionality (sort on add) works well for me.

And, of course, I don't want all those panes in one window ;-)
