I very often use multiple monitors, so having the option of different windows for different source files is important to me. However, I found out how to get Xcode4 to do this today, as well as show double-clicked files in separate windows with the toolbar hidden, so that's cool. The biggest thing remaining, to me, is the very-weird debugger behavior you mentioned -- wow, that drives me nuts when i've got a source file open (in a separate window) with a breakpoint set, and I press Run and all of a sudden Xcode4 just replaces the content of that source window with the output / console window, _even though the output / console info is already showing in another window_. I can imagine it might be worthwhile to keep the contents of output windows passed to aid in debugging, but at least let me turn it off (or don't turn it on unless I specify it).
Regards,
John
