I don't know; I'm just going by what I read on the list. From what I
understand, people are complaining that 4 uses the contained window
system, like Visual C++. That is, G S, the windows are "separate" but
must remain within the frame of the main window; they are not
independent - am I right? If so, that means one cannot just drag them
around anywhere and stack them or fan them as one might want. One
cannot, for example have them mingled on the desktop with windows from
a separate application.
I assume there wouldn't be all this dispute if 4 handled windows the
way that 3 does. If it does, that will end the old thread right now!
If you can tell that to the list, please do and I'm many people will
be grateful to hear no more, and I'll be happy too. I mean, happier.
