This is the Xcode mailing list so it seems to me that this is more on topic than Cocoa (which has its own list).

It's not a huge stretch to wonder: what if Apple wants to update Terminal.app mid-stream - will they charge $1 for that? What about Instruments? Could/Will they offer OpenGL Profiler updates outside of Xcode for $1?

I'd *love* to see Apple start updating their developer tools more frequently, and frankly I'd love to see them do it such that if I wanted a newer Instruments or OpenGL Profiler I wouldn't have to do a full install of Xcode. But if they had to charge a nominal fee for each individual app? I'm not really sure I'd like that.
