Why do you have to use it? Why not just stick to XCode 3 for a while?

Because then by the time Xcode 3 goes away, none of the things you care about will have been fixed in Xcode 4?

Every time a bug comes back as a "known issue", your vote has been counted.

FWIW I welcome Xcode's redesign, I don't think it's "dumbing down" but rather "consolidating".
