It's not uncommon for me to have 15-20 windows open or even more when making changes that thread through a number of classes. I also often use open windows as TODOs and close then when the module has been fully coded and debugged. I have no idea how I would go about tracking that being restricted to a single window.
I also use Xcode as my editor when working on ANY other kind of software project as their IDE inevitably forces a one window approach. I need my SPACE and I always fill it UP!

If so, then you can't actually look at an emal and a source window at the same time. This is something I could do under Mac System 7 on my Quadra 950!!!!
