agreed. i never use the quick help either because there is not enough information or i already know it. i use the definition in the header or the full documentation as reference, so i would wish quick access to these two.

Everybody please file bugs on this. m.

Because this thread has been a one-note tune so far, I thought I should register at least one dissent. I find the new Quick Help popup very useful and convenient, because I never know from one line of code to the next which document I'm going to want to look at: usually the class reference document, often the programming guide, sometimes but rarely the header. I very much like being able to hit a key combination for the popup and then clicking the link I want.

I don't begrudge anybody another key combination to bring up the "full documentation," of course. I just like having the Quick Help there so easily.

On another one-note tune, I'm quickly getting used to the one window approach, though sometimes it is awkward. But every once in a while, I click a key combination on a term and its declaration shows up in a small separate window of its own. Has anybody else seen this? I haven't tracked down exactly the circumstances in which it occurs -- there seems to be some randomness involved -- and given the Xcode documentation, I'm guessing that it is a bug.
