Honestly, it is hard for me to compare CodeWarror is so long ago, I just have a faint memory.

As much as I hate saying this, my experience with Visual Studio was great, and I see a lot of this in Xc4.

Most of the time, Xc4 put the things where I want them when I want them. And I can easily throw them out of my way when I don't

And now, let us be honest: With the exception of MPW, which -- er hum -- did not have the greatest UI, Mac Developers always pretty much had to swallow what the IDE Monopolist Of The Day (Symantec/Metrowerks/Apple) had to offer them, if my memory serves me right.

It is very sad, very sad, that Metrowerks was sold to Motorola, and Motorola did not have any interest in keeping the product alive for IBM CPUs (and I think it is safe to assume: Even much less so for Intel CPUs)

A little friendly IDE competition would not hurt the OS X community.
