Those percentages are not random. I would wager that many, perhaps a majority, of the machines running 10.5 are never going to get new software products added. Chances are most of them can't upgrade to 10.6 because they are too old; do you really want to support old PPC hardware?

No, I don’t support any PPC hardware.  I only supported Dual-Core Intel 64-bit machines on Leopard.  This had to do with the release of certain Java updates at the time.  Only the 64-bit Intel machines were bumped to a version of Java that the GUI could run on, as near as I could tell, and I was not able to acquire any PPC hardware to work with either.  It’s been so long now, but I think I did notice one of my Leopard machines later appeared to have Java updated enough to run the GUI on a 32-bit Intel, but it was too late, the daemon was only compiled for 64 bit machine.  I think now I could go back and add support for 32-bit Intel Leopard machines, but I don’t have the schedule or testing resources to do it right at the moment.

So is it worth it to carry forward support for 64-bit Intel Dual Core Leopard machines.. ?  I suppose I might not even be able to if our Java developer bumps the required Java version enough.
