How to add a search field into a toolbar in IB (Xcode4) ?

I am trying to add a search field into a toolbar in my window nib, but it won't stay there. Once I release the mouse, the search field goes back to the object library pane. I can add each one separately, but would like to make the search field a toolbar item.

How can I do this?

I'm using Xcode 4.

Thanks,

- Koen. _______________________________________________
