I'm not sure if this is
related: A little while back, Apple detected that I had multiple
IDs/accounts and combined them. I got an email notification of
this fact. This was for the discussion forum, however. My Apple
ID that still works for developer stuff is not the same as my
iTunes store account ID, but the username I used for iTunes has
been disabled for developer access (it tells me that the Apple
ID has been disabled).
April 8, 2011:
Hello!
We are going to be performing some account
housekeeping to help tidy up our existing user base
accounts:
- Accounts
that have zero content associated with them will be
considered inactive and deleted
- Apple
ID’s with multiple accounts tied to them will be
consolidated. We will be merging the content and the
points of these community members to the account with the
highest reputation level. For example, if you had 2
accounts tied to a single Apple ID, one which is a Level
3, and another which is a Level 1, the posts and points
from the Level 1 account will be assigned to the Level 3
account. After the merge, the lower level accounts will be
deleted.
If you discover any issues following the merge of
your accounts, or if you would like your account renamed
to one of your alternate account names, please don’t
hesitate to contact a host who will be happy to assist
you.
Thank you for your ongoing participation in and
support of Apple Discussions.

I don't think so. When I clicked the "Reset Password", it
took me to the page to set the Apple ID. Years ago, they were
different, but they don't appear to be any longer.

works on iTunes, App Store - won't work on Apple Developer

Those are different accounts. A developer account is not the
same as an iTunes user account.

Recently
my purse was stolen, and I changed a group of passwords,

Today I went to get the new version of Xcode from the

it won't recognize my AppleID password, although it
works fine in the
AppStore, (both on my iPad and iMac) and iTunes.
Does anyone have any experience with a similar problem?
