They keep making text editing worse over time. It used to be that option-rightArrow and option-leftArrow would skip to actual word boundaries. Some time ago they broke it by making other symbols word breaks as well, like '=' and '>', so now it takes forever to jump through code, because it keeps stopping on places that human programmers don't expect it to stop. Good gravy.
