I think that it is helpful to bear in mind that people who have never had a significant issue with Xcode are likely to never have joined this list, so you are already dealing with a subset of the developers, ones who are more likely to have come across a significant issue or had a question that made them join this list.
And it is unlikely that people who are happy with Xcode (like me) would be posting messages on this thread.
Sure I have encountered a few little glitches (e.g completions in GDB), and one or two crashes, but overall the more I use it the more I like it. Yes, it would be nice to have a completely bug free environment, but it is massively better than the previous version, and I hate it when I have to go back and do some maintenance work using Xcode 3.
And seeing as they are using it themselves for the development of OSX, I'm sure they'll be getting plenty of feedback from their own engineers to keep improving it.
….just sending this on behalf of the silent (probably) majority...

That's certainly the impression I get from others' comments in the twitterverse etc, though clearly that's hard to gauge, subject to lots of silliness, etc. But many really smart people have lost faith in Xcode.

But I've found myself ground down by time wasted by crashes, interaction design problems, and implementation infelicities. That all this comes from a *released* product from the richest company in the world makes it clear to me that something is deeply wrong with the Xcode 4 project as a whole. Hopefully Apple can do the rabbit-trick and somehow turn it around, but I need tools that work smoothly, right now.
