That's certainly true. But the complaints about Xcode 4 are loud and numerous (and certainly chime with my experience of it). I think there's a prima facie case that the problems are real.

That's my hope. But the fact that such an important product at this stage of  its development is as poor as it is suggests to me some fundamental failure of the project as a whole. It's certainly not a failure of talent or knowledge, so my (uninformed) guess is that it's process-related in some way.
