Yeah, I don't. Not my code.
That is what I was hoping to avoid.
It turns out that Xcode 4.2's storyboard editor, in its infinite wisdom, was hiding a view that actually had the target/source to the object.
So many XIBs to go through.
Why can't Apple release the updated Xcode versions for Snow Leopard?
Pained sigh.
