Once a device has been added to a provision file through the provisioning portal, I would assume (yes, big mistake) that any app created with that provision ID does not need to be recompiled and redistributed?
Is that correct?
If a device's 40 digit ID is added to an app's Development Provisioning Profile, how long does it take before the device should be able to install an app using enterprise signed Over the Air installation?
I've got 5 devices here, two of which were not assigned to my app's new provisioning cert. The app installs fine onto three of the machines (I removed the provisioning profiles on them all) but not yet to the two newly added machines.
Do I have to resign and repost the app to the HTTP server? That doesn't make sense unless the device ids are embedded in the provisioning file, which seems strange.
