I'll get used to autosave, eventually... I hope. In the mean while
it has caused me more harm than good. My old pattern of open a file,
make changes, then save as a new file is broken. Of course I don't
usually remember it is broken until after I've made the changes. It
doesn't help that with some apps the old behavior is correct but with
Xcode I have to remember to duplicate, then change.
At least in my case autosave is just an annoyance that I can work around.
I fee sorry for those folks who can no longer use applications that autosave
because of existing legal agreements for strict accounting of EVERY copy made
of a document, assuming copies are allowed at all.
