Xcode 4.3: making the project and debug output view independent of tab selected

Hello, all ...

Is there a way I can make the project (tree) view panel independent of tab selected? It really bugs me when when I switch tabs (where I have a source file loaded) and the project view changes position / switches to the threads view / etc. I want it to act more like Xcode 3, where it's completely independent of what file i'm looking at.

While we're at it, can I do the same for the console / debut output view? It bugs me very much that each tab seems to come with it's own debug output view, which is almost always wrong i.e. showing old debug output from the previous run, or the run before that, etc.

Regards,

John
