OK, so Jürgen, I do have an install of 4.5.2 running under OS X 10.8 and I'm sure others here do as well.
I can check and see if the 10.6 SDK is installed (or offered at all) under 4.5.2 on that 10.8 system when I get into the office.

Sadly, one would expect the SDKs that are supported to be listed in Xcode's release notes, but according to the release notes online, the complete list of supported iOS and Mac OS SDKs (besides 10.8 and iOS 6) are not even listed.
