fixing sub-optimal error reporting UI when using the assembler

  • Subject: fixing sub-optimal error reporting UI when using the assembler

If I add a .S file to my project and put a syntax error in, when I build, I don't get the normal error highlight things in the editor. I have to visit the Issue Navigator, then right click on the errors (that have been collapsed into one), then select 'Reveal in Log'. The error messages are then not clickable, and the issue navigator has hidden the file I was working in. Aaargh, Xcode.

Shouldn't this just work? Is there something I can do to make it work?

Thanks,

--Tom
