Okay, if I delete my about-to-expire cert from the Keychain, the old TEAM disappears from Xcode. As soon as I refresh profiles, it comes back (both in the keychain and Xcode).
Running through all the Provisioning Profiles on the dev portal, I deleted any I didn't need any time soon, and modified the rest, each in turn, checking to see what developer cert was selected for each. Many had NO cert selected, since the cert had been revoke. They don't show this way in the list; you have to "Modify" each one in turn to see it.
What a pain. But I think all's well now, at least WRT to my certs. I'm still having issues with Ad Hoc deployment; I'll post a separate email.

Under the first team is a single iOS distribution cert that is going to expire tomorrow. Under the other is every other cert (Mac program, etc.), including the one I just re-issued for iOS distribution.
