Thanks John, I am trying to figure out how best to use Dragon, Voiceover and Dictation. Meantime, a colleague has suggested this group:

Looking ahead, wouldn't it be cool if we could tell Xcode what to build. (by voice I mean).

However, there is Dragon Dictate. One of the features of Dictate was the
ability to dictate into an application's field. Tried it with SuperCard but
never XCODE.
There may be other programmers with similar issues that monitor the Mac
Voice mailing list that I believe is maintained by www.themacintoshguy.com.
It was a useful list but is not very active.
