As if Xcode isn't a "professional IDE"?
Just because others do it, and you want it, doesn't necessarily mean it's the right way. If you want it, file a radar. The mailing list is useless.

1) You're going to do either way in your scenario
2) You do not need to this

4 & 5) Just command-click it instead.
Or you could just Cmd-Shift-O and type the method you're looking for.
