I totally agree!
The UI has been going downhill since XCode 4 was released. At least up until that point the UI got better and as a user I felt like there was some overall direction that was fairly consistent. Now it's anyone's guess what the UI is going to look like! Worse then that whole sections are functionality are taken away on one version and then put back in with a horrid UI in a subsequent version! Of course if you say anything about it you are accused if "not getting with the program" or moaning!
This is soooooo true of XCode 4 and 5:
