Well, what makes you think anyone at Apple has the time to do advocacy
on your behalf? If you care about something, it is incumbent on you to
advocate for it.
Apple runs on Radar. Any conversation you have with people at Apple is
worthless unless it somehow gets put into Radar. The most direct way you
can influence Radar is by filing bugs, so why waste your time
complaining to people and not take advantage of your best tool of
influence?
