Sorry to sound insensitive, but your computer is someplace between 8 and 13 years old (depending on your model). The depreciation lifetime of computers is 3 years, which reflects a reasonable expectation of how often they need to be replaced. My advice is to accept that your computer is broken and that it is very unlikely that it is worth repairing.
Unless you are very lucky, the repair price will be 50% or more of the cost of a replacement unit. And if you repair it, you will STILL have a machine that has been discontinued for 8 years and for which it is virtually impossible to find new software, upgrades, or bug fixes any more. (It is very rare there days to find a developer who is maintaining a development environment capable to building software for your computer…)
It is time to bid a fond farewell to an old mechanical friend and move on.
