Just in case someone does a copy/paste from your post to search for that script - the correct filename is emlog.pl

That extension (in caps) is .PL not .PI

In the default font for my email client, it's almost impossible to discriminate between lower case i and l.

I'm not enough of an expert in PERL or system logs to make sense of this script.  Assuming the worst, if a hacker could get through my firewall to this script, would he/she be able to read my logs?  How much of a risk is that?
