I loved Xcode 3!

I have no idea what I'm talking about but I sort of wish the IDE tooling were more separated from the SDK. It seems odd that one has to keep upgrading the operating system and IDE to use the newer iOS SDKs. I'm sure there is a legitimate technical reason - but it seems like those teams could stand to be separated - like, across time zones :-)

I guess it's hard - especially given Swift is in such flux right now. Surprised to see operator++ was deprecated. Paradigm shifts and obvious changes aside - for me, that change alone signifies a real changing of the guard.

Again, I've no idea what I'm taking about.

having to click a few times to change the settings is definitely not an optimum UI in the context of a text editor inside XCode.

Definitely agree. Getting to the “Find options” pop-up is annoying; I wish it were right there next to the text field. (And there could also be an “immediate” or “incremental” checkbox, which you could then turn off and be happy.)
