After seeing Jens Alfke mention two App store Xcode editor extensions a
week ago (xcsort and xTextHandler), I thought I'd give them a try.
At the time I was running El Capitan, and after downloading xcsort,
could never get it to show. I figured I might really need Sierra, so
this just prodded me to upgrade.
Now I'm on latest macOS software, Xcode 8.1, yet nothing I do results in
either extensions showing up in the Editor window. I've tried running:
sudo /usr/libexec/xpccachectl
which is mentioned in the xcsort help window, then restarting - no change.
I've tried launching the two apps first, then launching Xcode - no
difference. Tried the reverse too, and no extension launches at all.
Nothing works - my Editor window always ends with "Show Code Coverage".
Magical incantations anyone?
