Earlier this week I committed revised fink packaging
for tcltk 8.4.16 that built on Leopard without disabling
the corefoundation support in the build. On my two machines

error messages. Only when I did an Archive and Install to restore of
Leopard to restore my original X11 installation did these error
messages appear on my machine with tcltk 8.4.16. Can any of the xorg
developers confirm that tcltk 8.4.16 built with corefoundation
suppresses these error messages when running programs like pymol
or dejagnu? I ask because I assumed from the ChangeLog in tcltk
8.4.16 that these Core Foundation issues were fixed...

* macosx/tclMacOSXNotify.c (AtForkChild): don't call CoreFoundation
APIs after fork() on systems where that would lead to an abort().
However this seems like it might only be true under X11 2.1.0.1
and not the stock 9A581 X11. Thanks in advance for any clarification
as this issue has been most perplexing.
