My favourite is <rdar://2965275>, for the fact that FileMerge can't
compare files with Mac line endings. Filed June 2002 (almost 1/2 a
decade ago!), marked duplicate, and still not fixed.
I appreciate that Xcode is a big project with countless bugs, changing
environments, and all the other things Shawn Erickson just mentioned,
but I understand how this kind of thing discourages Rob and others from
filing bugs. If filing bugs took no time, then sure, file away; but
filing bugs takes up my time, and if I have to wait 1/2 a decade for a
fix, well...
(Personally, my approach of late has been to file brief bugs, and put
the onus on Apple to contact me for more info if they need it.)
