Okay, well maybe I'm casting blame in the wrong direction. But I can
tell you that as a result of the experience of those sites, I'd never
consider using WebObjects. The things it's touted as making easy, such
as database integration, are made to look very difficult indeed by
those sites. It's a terrible advert for the technology (or the
engineers, I guess, but I'd never considered that).

Fair enough. I can't see why an abundance of lawyers should make those
sites so broken, but I'll take your word for it.
