Since upgrading to Mac OS 9.1, my scripts for account calculations have gone crazy! Earlier, I selected things like:

which was fully correct. (The "," is the decimal character in Sweden, the "-" is a dash but of course its meaning is supposed to be minus.)

But now, all of a sudden this returns only 435,00

According to the AppleScript language Guide for 1.3.7, the dash shall be included in the definition of a word.

Sorry, I meant hyphen instead of dash. It does not change the issue or bug in any way, but I just want to be correct here:
I.e hyphen (that key without any modifiers) shall, according to the manual, be part of the word in strings. And it WAS part of the word in earlier OS. Now, however, the script above does not include it!! Is this a new bug in the new AppleScript, or can I control it in any way? I have already tried to search various documents on changes etc but haven't found anything.
