Dunno. I haven't gone to OS 9.1 yet. I'm working on an applet that needs
the "write as list" command, which is broken in OS 9.1. So I'm not in a
hurry to upgrade (although the new "execution state" is very tempting!).
I'm planning to first install a "test OS 9.1" first and look for a
workaround for the "write as list" bug.

It isn't. Scriptability only started with OS 9.1

FWIW, under OS 9.0.4 with CarbonLib 1.2, I get the speedy menu blinking in
Script Editor. I've reverted to CarbonLib 1.0.4.

It works fine in 9.1, so far. The computer seems more zippy too! I am going to put it in 9.0.4 and 8.6.
i had trouble with installing it using the installer had to do it manually.
Except for the RA osax, apparently the scripts I tested are working fine in 9.1.
By the way, smile does not complain of missing library with CarbonLib 1.2.
So if you plan to upgrade you know what you have to do.
