A script snippet to check installation and version of scripting additions.
I'm not sure how robust the code is as I've yet to use it on a regular basis, but seems alright with limited testing. Written and tested on OS 9.1.

p.s. Is there a way to have plain AppleScript throw up an error dialog without that "Edit" button?
